Oaxaca Destination Wedding: Meredith + Jaime at Jardín Etnobotánico

Meredith and Jaime, from Texas and Mexico, shared their day with friends and family in the Hotel Quinta Real, Santo Domingo Church, and the Ethnobotanical Garden. They wanted zero posed formals, so I had a great time being a purely documentary photographer, focusing of course as always on artistic elements and real emotions. My favorite moments were when Meredith’s mom helped her get ready sitting in the hotel window sill in the incredibly golden light coming through, and the moment when Jaime took the mic and dominated several mariachi songs towards the end of the party.
