What an all-day elopement with me looks like

It's just me, all day, so there's no crew to work around and no reason to rush. I stay with you from getting ready until the light is gone, and I do everything myself: the photos, a cinematic film, aerials where the location allows, and real film on a medium format and a 35mm camera.

You can pay attention to each other and let me worry about the pictures.

Your guide who's already there

I've lived in Oaxaca since 2007 and photographed weddings here since 2008. I know the ruins, the agave fields, the mountain viewpoints, and some lesser-known spots, and what time of day each one looks best. I'll help you plan the day around the places that matter to you.

Travel within 60 miles of Oaxaca City is included. Paris, Heidelberg, Chicago, and San Miguel each have one all-in price on their own page. Anywhere else, I'll quote travel separately. We'll work out the right day together on a free call.

Questions couples ask

How much does an elopement cost?
Oaxaca elopements start at $3,500 USD for up to five hours of photography and a cinematic film, all by me. The full day is $4,900, with photography, a cinematic film, drone where the location allows, and real film. Travel within 60 miles of Oaxaca City is included.
What about the rainy season?
Rain usually comes from about June through September, mostly as afternoon or evening storms. Mornings are often clear. We plan the timeline around it.
Can we get legally married in Mexico?
Yes, through the Registro Civil, but there's paperwork: apostilled birth certificates with certified Spanish translations, among other documents. Many couples do the legal part at home and have the ceremony here.
How do we book?
A signed contract and 35% reserve your date at these prices. Then 35% at the halfway point between booking and the elopement, and 30% two weeks before.
