Chicago has been part of my life from my earliest memories visiting my aunts and uncles, to taking weekend trips there during college, to now bringing my kids on trips home to make our own special memories of this incredible city.

A Chicago wedding, start to finish

Alexis and Jason got married at The Ivy Room. Everyone got ready together in the city, rode a trolley through downtown, and ended up in the ivy-covered courtyard and candlelit dining room.

Engagement photos in Chicago

Before the wedding day, Alexis and Jason took some time out together downtown: their balcony, the bridge houses along the river, the Riverwalk, the Chicago Theatre marquee, and Michigan Avenue as the lights came on.

If you'd like a session like theirs, we can plan one for the days before your wedding while I'm in town.

Chicago wedding video, film & drone

Along with photography, I can add a highlight video, a vintage film camera, and, wherever it's allowed, a few moments of drone. It's all me, so there's no extra crew at your wedding.

Chicago elopements & small weddings

I also photograph elopements and small weddings in Chicago. A short ceremony and a walk around the city with the two of you, or dinner with your closest people.

I keep packages simple and easy. For Chicago, it's one price, with all travel fees included, and no hidden or extra travel fees.

Do you live in Chicago?

I live in Oaxaca, Mexico, and I'm from Illinois. I come home often and jump at the chance to do so. (And travel is included in the price.)

Do you work alone or with a team?

For destination weddings, I typically work alone, providing photography, and, if desired, a video highlight, vintage film camera, and, wherever allowed, select moments of drone.

How many photos will we receive?

Galleries typically include 100 images per hour. The exact number varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery comes loaded with edited, high-resolution images you can print and share.

What is the next step to book?

Reserve your date with a signed contract and 35%. Then 35% at the halfway point between booking and the wedding, and 30% two weeks before. If you don't have a contract yet, just let me know and I'll send one over.
