I'm a native English speaker, fluent in Spanish, born and raised in the US, and living in Oaxaca since 2007. My wife was born here and we had our own wedding here, so I'm used to weddings where the families come from different countries and speak different languages. I know the usual spots like the Jardín Etnobotánico, new ones like Loma Noble, and plenty of secret spots that no one has ever heard of.
I shoot digital, medium format and 35mm film, cinematic video, and drone. For elopements and intimate weddings, I do all of it myself. For larger celebrations, I bring in a small team that I direct. And when a venue allows it, I fly a drone to get the scale of the place, the mountains behind it, the courtyard from above, the thing you picked the venue for in the first place.
I treat getting ready, couple portraits, the ceremony, family formals, and the dance floor as what they are: different parts of the day, each with its own emotions, moments, and details. I change my approach to fit each one.
We start with a call about your plans, your people, and your questions. After you book, email or WhatsApp me whenever something comes up.
I'll suggest locations and help build your timeline around the best light. I'll tell you what to expect at a calenda or a Mass, and point you to planners and vendors I trust. If your guests have never been to Mexico, I can help them too, down to day tours.

3. Reserve your date.
A signed contract and a 35% deposit reserve your date.
4. Plan the day together.
I help with locations and the timeline, and answer questions whenever they come up. With the larger packages, we do a Save the Date or casual one-hour photography session.
5. Get your photos and film.
Sneak peeks within 48 hours. Your full gallery in about 2 months. Your films in about 3 months.
