Carlos + María: Hierve el Agua Surprise Engagement

I liked Carlos’ idea from the start, and it only got better as we developed it. The best part is that it unfolded as planned, and his girlfriend María was totally surprised.

The plan was they would arrive together at Hierve el Agua, and without her knowing it, I would already be there just taking pictures. Then Carlos would approach me to take a picture of them, after which I would offer to take a few more. After awhile, Carlos would take the ring out of his pocket and take a knee….
