Mariana + Eduardo: From Save the Date to Wedding Day in Oaxaca

I first photographed Mariana and Eduardo in October 2025, for their save-the-date session in the Centro: old church doors, blue and red walls, and the shade of the big trees near Santo Domingo. Six months later, we were back together for the wedding.

The wedding

It was a joy to celebrate the love between Mariana and Eduardo, with family and friends who traveled from all over to be there. The ceremony was at Los Lavaderos in the Hotel Quinta Real, the old stone basins where the nuns once washed their linens. Then a calenda with monos and a brass band filled the streets of the Centro, and the reception was at La Fábrica Patio, with dinner under the trees and a full dance floor. Marcela González planned the day.
